Listening to all the doom mongers telling us that we are finished as a species unless we do this or that, I put this question to you all.
Why should the 75% of the population who are trying their best to rub along under the worst economic conditions for 60 years, pay vast sums via the NHS to the 25% of lardasses who eat themselves stupid?
I pose this question having seen how the number of clinically obese have increased to 1 in four of the population and in particular, the 70 stone lump who lies in bed all day in Suffolk because he can't move, has 7 social workers who visit on a daily basis and is now going to be treated on the NHS in Chichester at a cost of between 10 and 40 THOUSAND pounds, whereas most people have enormous difficulty getting the tiniest bit of help for an elderly relative.

I'd like to know who feeds that fella his dozen curries every day, since he can't cook it himself. Perhaps they should be prosecuted for slowly feeding him to death. Wouldn't mind trying one of the curries though - I bet they're bloody good, lol.

WE do Rob.
Or at least we pay for the food and the carers who feed him.
I have just seen on the news another 20 (plus) stone single mum in her thirties, bemoaning the fact that she has taken out a loan with a loan shark company who are charging 272% APR, because she doesn't have enough money! My advice to her would be. Stop shovelling food down your throat. Stop knocking out kids to supplement your benefits. Get a part time job, some exercise and clean the filthy house up. And above all, have some self respect.

The trouble is that when anyone voices these views, they are denigrated as, excuse me for a minute, because I don't know what the latest buzz word/phrase is...... probably obese fascists... how does that sound Flabmeisters?
Oooh leave me alone, I can't help eating twice my bodyweight every day.
The most reasonable solution would be that anyone over 20 stone be shot...
dead!
End of fat problem! Yowser!
We had it with smokers, now lets get rid of the fat b******s!

That idea could be developed into a very effective weight watchers club - membership compulsory of course. The pounds would just drop off.

Walking past Driftwood today and two "large" persons virtually forced us to walk in the road.
They had no intention of single-filing and the pavement is not very wide there as you will know, so they just waddled towards us and, to be honest, its very intimidating.

I love that waddle. They make more progress sideways than forward.
I heard that the airlines are going to charge anyone over 18 stones a premium based on a sliding (upwards) scale.
'bout time too! Evil or Very Mad
