Oakfield, Ryde, anyone know what living theres like as im due to relocate there in 4 weeks, any info would be much appreciated, many thanks L, Lee

My mum lives that side of Sheffield at Intake.
Sorry cannot give you any info on the area you are moving to in Ryde. Don't really know it that well. I live at West Wight near Yarmouth.
You will find living on the Island totally different to living in Sheffield. Took me quite a while to adjust. And believe it or not I still pine for Meadowhall. That's one of the things I still haven't quite got used to, the majority of shops shutting early and there being no late night opening.
When are you hoping to move here? |

I'm already used to that I lived in shanklin for 6 years , but never went to Ryde much.

Sorry dident see you ask when we are moving there, we av a place in 4 weeks but think im going to get new year over as we had our second son this morning ,and we wanna settle him first

Congratulations on the birth of your son. Can understand you wanting to wait until the New Year to move.
Hadn't realised you had lived here previously so expect you know quite a bit about the Island already.
Keep us posted as to when you are moving here.
