moving back to island with disabled daughter

Hi, we are moving back to the island with our daughter who was born at st marys. I am wondering what the school, social services, care packages, respite , physio's and occupational therapists are like, as we didnt know she was disabled when we left. She has a profound disability, and currently get lots of support and equipment, and it is really daunting , the thought of giving it all up. We were really happy on the island, and left for family reasons, but need to move back home to bring our family up there.
also, are there any areas that are better than others for activities for disabled kids. I'm from west wight originally Laughing

I know your post was a while ago but I am moving to west wight from the mainland in January 2010 and have a disabled son, who needs physio etc what hospital/dept were you in contact with?
