Just want to say what an excellent night me and my partner had at the open-air Jazz Festival at Havenstreet Steam Railway on Saturday night. It was the first year that we had gone to this and we had a really super night - and of course the weather did play its part as well!!!

The best band of the evening by no imagination were the Swing Commanders who got a standing ovation. They are an absolutely amazing band! Well worth the money just to see them.

Hi dave83 - to be honest not sure but I believe it is. We are certainly going to keep our eyes open to see if it's advertised next year and will be getting tickets if it is.

I can confirm that the jazz festival will be taking place this year at Havenstreet railway on Saturday 18th June.

Check iwsteamrailway.com for early bird tickets and further details.

Thanks for that MrMcBee - we bought our tickets just before Christmas!! Really looking forward to it. Have seen the Jive Aces on numerous occasions and they are excellent (although having said that I do actually prefer the Swing Commanders who were there in 2010).
