Ok, so i am here on holiday at the moment and need a quick answer - i apologise if i have posted in the wrong section or i havent searched the forums for previous asked questions if this topic has already been covered....however!!

I am staying in Ryde, and as i drove down towards the big tesco extra to my right hand side along the brading road i can see in the distance like this really tall thing - almost looks like a tall black spoon - it sways from side to side in the wind

I also saw the same object from haven street when on the train and went via ashey on the steam train

what the hell is it???

Smile

Thanks in advance!!!

hehehe - ooohhh

Well.....TODAY - i went on a "spooky spoon" hunt - my son named it, he is 4 and watched the numberjacks on cbeebies, so yeh anyway lol - spooky spoon is actuall at Highdown farm in Ashey just close to the ashey graveyard and the bridge for the steam railway.

I asked a lady i saw randomly walking about and she said the guy just basically built it - its meant to be like a giant grass seed or sunflower seed, its been there for 6 months and he just put it there to see what happens....a piece of art i guess.

and i thought it was going to be something soooo much more exciting!! haha
