Hi
I am moving to Ryde from Cheshire at the weekend! Its all v exciting, my question is.... i need to buy a sofa and dishwasher, was going to buy up here and transport on the ferry with my other stuff to keep the costs down but havent managed to be that organised. Having looked on ebay and other online shops, it appears that their free delivery offers are only for mainland addresses.so.....
do you know anywhere that delivers on the island for a reasonable price....or
is it cheaper to buy on the island and are there any good bargains to be had anywhere?
thanks for your help - brace yourself for many more questions in the future!

| I would say better to buy on the island there are loads of adds in the County Press which comes out on a Thursday or there is the free ads paper or alternatively there is a shop in ryde at the top of the high street which sells second hand stuff at reasonable prices. |

| You could always try freecycle, just google the name, theres a busy community on the island swapping unwanted stuff like sofas etc. Don't think I've seen a dishwasher though. |
