Apparently the Totland parish council is going to put up no-cycling notices on the esplanade between Totland and Colwell Bays. It seems that its too dangerous to cycle there as people may cycle over the edge and go into the sea. So when they ban cycles, people will have to use a bumpy potholed road being overtaken by buses and lorries instead, and that's safer!
