| At the end of january I need to catch the 6.45am National Express bus to Gatwick but am unsure of which route off the Island to use to ensure I catch that bus! The obvious route is the 05.47am Wightlink cat from Ryde Pier but I keep hearing that this service is cancelled at short notice for weather and mechanical reasons. The desk at Ryde Pier refuses to tell me how often this happens and advises getting there early to catch the 04.47am and that it is unlikely that both cats would be cancelled! The alternative is the early Fishbourne car ferry but that involves a walk at the other end. Can anyone comment on the true situation re reliability of the cats on the early schedule? |
