Wedding day disappointment at Calbourne Water Mill

We had planned a wedding to take place at Calbourne Mill this September, but have just cancelled the location as the manager become rude and aggressive.

After initial discussions last September regarding the dressing of the venue we were told quite aggressively that the dressing of the mill would not be allowed.

We were told that the mill would open its doors until 12pm on the day of the wedding and its customers would be eating breakfast in the wedding location taking place the same afternoon.

Our Marquee company wouldn't be able to change any of the tables or chairs.

We were told by the manager that she doesn't like change.

The biggest disappointment was the stubborn and aggressive nature of our discussions which should have been friendly and exciting.

There are lots of amazing places to get married on the island and I recommend to everyone not to be disappointed for your big day

We have just cancelled our wedding venue at Calbourne Mill and now have a beautiful venue for the same price.
