Just become a member of this lovely site, been following it for weeks, and finally joined. I have lived here for 20 yrs, and raised my daughter here too.
As the name says, i'm into photography in a big way, and would love to make a career out of it, but then i guess all us photographers say that
I love the island, and all its beauty. Im a dog lover, love good company, good conversation, and Just really wanted to say Hi
you can find me on flickr http://www.flickr.com/photos/wightmagik/
or my website at : http://www.wightmagikphotography.com/
I have noticed lots of interesting photographers on the island, and lets face it, who can be lost for inspiration
look forward to reading and posting. |

Hello and welcome to the forum. Just been having a look at your website and will have a look at your Flickr site later. Noticed one of the tags on Flickr was Nikon D70. My first DSLR was a D70, still got it and it's been joined by a Canon 40D. At some point I'll get round to uploading some more photos to Flickr too.
Is that your dog in the Flickr photos? I've got a Lab Cross and Lurcher myself. |

hi, thanks carrie, yes, she's my dog, one of a pair , lurcher x wolfhounds. Big shaggy dogs, without the awesome wolfhound size. Something in the lurcher has kept the size down to a level where its not like a tornado blowing through the house
They are much loved, and both have beards and big shaggy eyebrows.
I love the D70, and i use a Pentax too, and im slowly building a collection of respectable sized lenses, it takes a while, but well worth it.
thanks for visiting my sites, what username do you use on flickr, or send me the link, I'd love to have a look. |

Hi and welcome to the forum. Been along to your Flickr site and you have some stunning pictures there. I have added you to my contacts lists. My id is wight_pics.
For any other Flickr users on the forum there is a great group on Flickr called Guess Where Isle of Wight. You just post a picture and everyone tries to guess the location. Simple but fun |

I'm Carrieh_1998 on flickr, but have only just started using it, always went with photobucket in the past, but that's getting slower and slower at uploading. Still need to get a pro account on Flickr so that I can start uploading photos properly, so far most of the photos I've uploaded have been of the dogs.
Rob, I've joined that group, looks like fun. |

Hi Carrie
I use photo bucket at times mainly for other forums but I like Flickr because of the interactive side of things. Glad you like the GWIOW group, it is a bit of fun. Had a quick look through your `stream...you have some great shots there...like the pens
I have made you a contact as well. |
