Hi,
My girlfreind and I will be moving to the IOW during the first week of May and need to find a rental property. We are checking out the usual agencies but if possible would prefer to rent direct. We are looking for a 1/2 bedroom bungalow/cottage/flat (if flat it MUST be in a modern purpose built block) Furnished or part furnished but must have 'white goods' and a washing machine is essential! Looking to rent in the Ryde/Sandown/Shanklin areas but would consider other places if close to a bus route. We have no children or pets, but may want to aqquire a cat at some stage! Usual deposit/1st months rent/references ok. Potential landlord must be willing to put depositt in one of the three Govt. schemes (Now legal requirement anyway) Dependant on location/condition able to pay £350-480 pcm.
