And the Lord David of Retribution spake unto the dissidents:
"You who worship the false god with three arms have vilified and maligned me and St. George these past five years.
Now you shall not take any place at the table of the Feast of Nimby and you shall be banished to the planet of Walding in the Harrington-Vile galaxy and spend your lives wandering in the wilderness searching for the Golden Turbine."
And there was much wailing and gnashing of teeth, a fair amount of eye-rolling and even the odd curse.

I notice that the "dissidents" are now crying "foul" over the publication of the date and place of the Cheverton application.
It shows that they do not have anyone in their group who is capable of working out the procedure.
One of the supporters actually believes that there will only be 5 speakers!
In reality there could be as many as 20 speakers, 5 for each group. Doh!
When a date is set for a hearing, the Administrator sends out letters to those who have commented along with a public speaking leaflet.
This is nothing new. It is standard practice. The fact that objectors were/are more clued up is obviously going to give them an advantage.
I have also looked at the CL&P website where they exhort people to support their proposal to bring "green energy to the Isle of Wight".
They are just too kind!
When one delves further into their history, one finds that CL&P were bought by Renewable Energy Generation in June 2005.
At that time CL&P already had 14 turbines up and running at Goonhilly Down, leading R.E.G. to comment in their Interim Results Report of 6 March 2006:
"This (Goonhilly) would substantially increase an already acceptable return from the project"
R.E.G. appear to be part of Renewable Energy Holdings, an offshore company with headquarters in the Isle of Man.
I therefore find it intriguing that this huge offshore corporation is being supported by some of the poorest people in society.
Or maybe, just like the planning procedures, they just don't know.

What I find intriguing is that, unable to find a "lawyer to act for them under legal aid" according to Ms. Pepper, the so called Magic Roundabout Zebedees were not represented by one of the wealthy corporations whose cause they are espousing.
But then those wealthy corporations could not give a **** about local people
