| I think it's very impressive, but I can't help thinking why bother? It must be an horrendously expensive process for them. As for privacy I'm not sure, but here in London and elsewhere, some are claiming it will help burglars target a property, as if they can't just walk down any street they want anyway! |

English Heritage has the Images of England project to put an image of every listed building online and a number of people objected to that project on the grounds that it was an aid to burglars. At the end of the day though, if burglars want to check out your home prior to a burglary, they're going to do it anyway.
Like Einstein said, how much is the whole google street view costing. I've only looked at some of the Manchester streets that were done just because that's the area I know. |

Technology has advanced so far within the last 50 years, our fathers and grandparents would have laughed in your face if you told them that you would be able to telephone using a mobile. It beggars to think where this will all end? I've had a play around with this little gadget? Try locating a military base, or government post, you will find a big blur were it should be I wonder why I haven't tried finding area 51 yet |

Groom Dry Lake Air Force Base (a.k.a Area 51) is on Google Maps but appears as a big grey area! |
