| Since moving to the Island I can't help but notice how many more special needs persons I have seen. Nearly every day I go out, I will always see them. Is there a reason for this? Are they holidaymakers do you think? When I see the many carers positions vacant I assumed it was for the elderly, but perhaps not. |

| Due to recent, much needed Goverment/Local Authority, policies on society/people/socialisation people with special needs are no longer kept in institutions. This is also down to the many charities such as Mencap and Scope who fight for the rights of people with special needs and people with disabilities. 'Well done', is what I say. |
