Surely it would be best to deliver parcels when people are likely to be home ie after 5:00 pm or at weekends. I tend to avoid sellers using couriers due to the amount of problems I've had in the past with them. ParcelForce are by far the worst of the lot just leaving parcels on the doorstep that have been stolen and I have eventually established that my signature has been forged by the delivery man!
I now specifically ask, before I buy stuff on-line, and if they don't use Royal Mail I go elsewhere.
Sorry DHL but that's what happens when you use a forum for free job advertising : )
