No contest those living on the island that paint it as being utopia are either blind or have never been anywhere else the island has change for the worse the council are murdering it ,it a place for the rich and very old .I live here but my girlfriend has a flat in the canaries I know where I'd rather be  |

Well........
We came, we saw, we still loved and will be putting our place on the market in May! We are coming over in May too! We reckon our best chance at earning money is self employment! I make cakes and my Hubby is a self employed landscape gardener. He is quite willing to take on big jobs on the mainland Southampton?Portsmouth area if work is not forthcoming on the Island.
Gilera - good luck in the canary Islands! You obviously dislike IOW so much, thats a real shame. The Government is s**** all over, not just on the Island and if you live were I live now Im pretty damn sure you would want to go back to IOW in a heartbeat. Each to their own though! Good luck in the Canaries as Im sure you wish me luck on the Island
